If you’re on a therapy waitlist, you’ve already taken an important step — but that doesn’t mean the hard stuff hits pause while you wait. In fact, this in-between time can be filled with anxiety, overwhelm, and questions like: “What can I do now to start feeling better?”
Maybe you’re not on a waitlist, but you know you need some support now.
Maybe you’re curious about therapy and want a place to start in more of a workshop-style group setting.
Or maybe you’ve done therapy before and want to reconnect with the skills that helped you most.
Maybe you’ve learned the Community Resiliency Model (CRM)® skills before and are ready for a refresher — a chance to sharpen your tools, explore the deeper “why” behind them, and build more confidence in using them day-to-day.

This 4-week, virtual group offers supportive, workshop-style sessions grounded in practical, body-based tools to help you build resilience, regulate stress, and strengthen your inner resources—whether you’re waiting for therapy, unsure if therapy is right for you, or simply need a reset.
What You’ll Learn:
In this 4-week group, you’ll explore simple, effective tools rooted in the Community Resiliency Model (CRM)® —a biological, evidence & strengths-based approach to well-being that focuses on how our nervous system responds to stress and resilience.
- Core Wellness Skills: Learn techniques to calm the nervous system, manage anxiety, and build everyday resilience.
- Self-Regulation Tools: Practice strategies that help you stay grounded, present, and steady during times of stress or uncertainty.
- Mind-Body Connection: Understand how to recognize and shift patterns of tension and discomfort in the body.
- Strengthening Inner Resources: Build access to hope, joy, and a deeper sense of self by connecting with what sustains and uplifts you.
- The Resilient Zone: Discover how to track your nervous system and return to your “Resilient Zone”—a space where you can think clearly, feel balanced, and respond rather than react.
This group is not deficit-based — it honors the innate capacity for healing that exists in all of us by working with the body’s natural rhythms and responses.
Whether you’re preparing to begin therapy or simply want to show up for yourself in a new way, Wellness While You Wait helps you build a solid foundation of self-awareness, regulation, and resilience. You’ll walk away with tools you can use immediately — and a clearer path forward, no matter what comes next.

- Group Size: Limited to 6–8 participants for confidentiality, connection, and personalized support
- Cost: $65/session – or billable to insurance if group therapy is covered

You don’t need any prior experience with group work, and you certainly don’t need to be feeling your best to participate—just a willingness to show up and explore something new. This group is designed to be a supportive, low-pressure space where learning happens through shared experience. Connecting with others who are also navigating stress or uncertainty can be incredibly validating and healing. Confidentiality is a foundational part of this group, ensuring a safe and respectful environment for everyone. You can share as much or as little information as you’d like during our workshop sessions.
