Learn about the Community Resiliency Model and help improve well-being for yourself and your community

12 p.m. – 1 p.m.
Online
This session is free of charge—registration required

The Community Resiliency Model© (CRM) trains community members to help themselves and others within their wider social network. The goal of the CRM is to create “trauma-informed” and “resiliency-focused” communities that share a common understanding of the impact of trauma and chronic stress on the nervous system.

During this information session participants will learn three skills within the CRM model based. These skills are based on human biology and neuroscience, to create new neural pathways that strengthen the ability to cope when dealing with trauma, chronic stress, and/or bounce back faster from everyday normal stressors.

Laurie Strand, LCSW and founder of Resiliency Rising is the presenter for this virtual one-hour lunch and learn session. Strand will introduce you to the CRM and will share some skills for practicing wellness. She will return Oct. 27-28 to facilitate the CRM training.
