Friday, June 23 · 9am – 3pm MDT
This workshop is for those who have completed a 1/2 or 1 day CRM workshop and have learned the basis of the model and the six wellness skills. During the workshop, participants will build upon the knowledge they’ve previously gained, and through small group practice, learn to share the model and guide others through the skills.
This workshop will be interactive, experiential, and participants will leave with the confidence to begin sharing these skills with others in their personal and professional life.
The Community Resiliency Model (CRM)® trains community members to not only help themselves but to help others within their wider social network. The goal of CRM is to create trauma-informed and resiliency-focused communities that share a common understanding of the impact of trauma and chronic stress on the nervous system. CRM skills help people understand their nervous system and learn to track sensations connected to their own well being. The primary focus of this skills-based model is to reset the nervous system’s natural balance. Using the wisdom of their own bodies, people experience rapid relief from stress-related symptoms, as well as an increased sense of control over future wellness.
